Coconut Coir Chips

Buffered Coconut Coir Chips are a premium growing medium made from natural coconut husk, specially treated to remove excess salts and stabilise calcium and magnesium levels. This buffering process makes them safe and plant-ready, preventing nutrient lockout and root stress often associated with unprocessed coir.

Coir chips provide excellent aeration and drainage while still retaining enough moisture to keep roots hydrated. Their chunky structure creates air pockets in the soil, encouraging strong root growth and reducing the risk of rot. Ideal for mixing into aroid soil blends, orchid mixes, propagation media, or using as a top layer to improve airflow around the root zone.
